VIB Cough-Vest LBTK-K-I 2000

COVID-19, a novel coronavirus for which humans have no immunity, is wreaking havoc across the globe. While we know this COVID-19 wave will pass eventually, it is of paramount importance that we act now to be better prepared for the next respiratory pandemic.

Who can Benefit from The VIB COUGH-VEST System?

Patients who have evidence or a suggestion of retained secretions.

Patients who have difficulty with secretion clearance, or presence of atelectasis caused by mucus plugging.

What is HFCWO?

High-frequency chest wall oscillation (HFCWO) is an airway clearance technique in which external chest wall oscillations are applied to the chest using an inflatable vest that wraps around the chest. These machines produce vibrations at variable frequencies and intensities, helping to loosen and thin mucus and separate it from airway walls.

How does the VIB COUGH-VEST work?

The goal of VIB COUGH-VEST is to break up mucus and help bring it to the upper airways, where it can be coughed out or removed by suction.
Inflatable vests have flexible plastic hoses attached to the vest garment, that connect to an air compressor/generator, which require electrical outlet to
operate, that delivers bursts of air to rapidly inflate and deflate the vest to oscillate the chest wall.

There are a wide range of diseases and health conditions that cause increased mucus production and ineffective airway clearance. The diseases listed below are among those for which The VIB Cough-vest system has been prescribed:

• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease)
• Bronchiectasis
• Cerebral palsy
• Emphysema
• Chronic bronchitis
• Cystic fibrosis
• Multiple sclerosis
• Muscular dystrophy
• Disorders of the diaphragm
• Pneumonia
• Post-operative lung transplant
• Post-polio syndrome
• Primary ciliary dyskinesia
• Quadriplegia
• Scoliosis
• Spinal cord injury
• Spinal muscular atrophy
• Tracheomalacia
• Tracheal stenosis

1. Frequancy
In the range of 5Hz to 20Hz +/- 1Hz, providing the patient a more comfortable treatment.

2. Working pressure
In the range of 3kpa ~ 9kpa with error + 15%.

3. Vibration performance
At the same frequency, through high acceleration, vibration produces inertial force, which improves the vibration performance and forms triangle waveform to improve better expectoration effect.

4. Multiple operating mode
The machine has four automatic modes and one manual mode. Various working modes ensure better clinical adaptability
- The automatic modes are: children mode, adult mode, elderly mode and ICU mode.
- Manual mode can set time and frequency separately, and all parameters can be adjusted during operation.
5. Time: In the range of 0-30 minutes ±1 minute.

6. Single-hose inflation
The single-hose design simplifies delivery of the air pulses to the lungs. The pulses are delivered from the base of the VIB COUGH-VEST with the force pulsing upward and inward in strong, but smooth, cycles of 360-degree coverage, which deliver simultaneous treatment to the patient's chest and back and all lobes of the lungs. The single-hose is less obtrusive, less complicated, and more comfortable. Allowing the patient more freedom of movement during the course of treatment.

7. Smart memory function
It can help you to saves your individual treatment protocols.

8. Low noisy design
The working noise of the whole machine is not more than 85dB (a), which ensures the vibration intensity and avoids excessive noise.

9. Bluetooth Remote Control
It is convenient for medical staff to operate and adjust the intensity and frequency of the oscillation.

10. Attractive design and easy to operate
High definition touchscreen LCD display can ensure clear parameter indicated during the setting and working process. Easy and convenient for operation.

11. Multi-functional trolley
The machine is equipped with separate trolley, which physical mechanical assembly way is stable and firm with strong safety performance. It has the function of storage and can be used to store accessories.

12. Various chest vest and wrap
The inflatable chest vests are available in 5 sizes and can meet the needs of 8 months old babies to adults.

Comfortable and Easy to Use

The VIB COUGH-VEST garment’s Velcrolike closures, softtouch fabric, and single hose design help simplify your therapy.
