He had a history of diabetes mellitus for 13 years and with an ulcer area of 82 mm² in the right toe, tcPO² 18.5 mmHg and a creatinine level of 54 mg/dl. 


He was treated by A-V foot pump and usual wound care in the vascular surgery department of Mayo Medical Center in the United States. He used a foot pump twice a day for 2-3 hours each time.


By the third week, the condition of the wound improved and granulation tissue got bright red. After that, the wound area gradually decreased and completely healed by the 34th week.
