Airway Clearance

Our lungs are constantly producing mucus. It is our natural way to keep the lungs clear of infection. In healthy lungs, patients swallow the mucus naturally. When a person is no longer able to effectively clear mucus from their lungs on their own, airway clearance therapy becomes increasingly important to help prevent infection and inflammation.

Patients with cough, asthma and suffocation are all expecting a miracle!

According to statistics, one third of the medical patients in the hospital are patients with respiratory diseases. It is a disease that gradually weakens the patient's respiratory function due to airway obstruction. Clinically, there are varying degrees of cough and suffocation. Due to the impaired respiratory function of the lungs, COPD patients suffer breathing difficulties even when sitting. Acute attacks become more frequent as the disease progresses, and later can lead to respiratory failure complicated by heart failure and suffer from tracheal incision etc.

The mortality rate of patients with cough and asthma is as high as 20%-30% within 5 years. In the past 30 years, the global mortality rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases has decreased year by year, while the mortality rate of COPD has increased by 163%. 3 million people die from COPD every year, and the number of disabled people reaches 5-10 million! The treatment of respiratory diseases especially chronic obstructive pulmonary disease mainly adopts anti-inflammatory, phlegm and tracheal expansion symptomatic treatment methods. Due to antibiotic resistance, the temporary nature of hormone drugs and the passiveness of oxygen inhalation, sputum cannot be effective and timely discharged.

High-frequency chest wall oscillation (HFCWO)

High-frequency chest wall oscillation (HFCWO) is an airway clearance technique in which external chest wall oscillations are applied to the chest using an inflatable vest that wraps around the chest. These machines produce vibrations at variable frequencies and intensities, helping to loosen and thin mucus and separate it from airway walls.
