Lymphedema of upper limb after breast cancer surgery

5 years after breast cancer surgery, the upper left limb from wrist striation to the shoulder was significantly more swollen than the contralateral side. After using a foot pump, for 2 to 4 hours a day, for three weeks of treatment, the disappeared transverse striation appeared and the circumference of wrist was reduced. After three weeks, the circumference of wrist and elbow were reduced by 1.5cm and 3.8cm respectively.
